Applicants into any our programmes (outlined in the table below), are invited to study and adhere to the following timelines to ensure that the admission, registration process produces the desired results.

GENERAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

MSc Programmes:

  • Corrosion Technology, Electrochemical Technology, Future Energies, and Nanotechnology:
    • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Science (Physical/Biological/Health) or Engineering discipline from a recognized university.
    • A CGPA not less than 3.00 on a 5.0 scale
  • Energy Management and Entrepreneurship:
    • A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
    • A CGPA not less than 2.50 on a 5.0 scale

 

In addition to the above requirements, where applicable, a Postgraduate Diploma (minimum of Upper Credit) is required for candidates with a Third-Class Honours degree.

 

PhD Programmes:

  • The minimum entry requirement into all the PhD programmes is a Master’s degree with at least a CGPA of 3.50 on a 5.0 scale, in a relevant Science (Physical/Biological/Health) or Engineering discipline.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

  1. A non-refundable application fee shall be payable by all applicants.
  2. Application fees are currently waived for all female applicants. ACE-FUELS encourages higher female participation in its programmes.
  3. Nigerian male applicants are required to pay an application fee of Twenty Thousand (N20,000.00) Naira only while internation male applicants shall pay application fee of 25 United States Dollars.
  4. Applications must be completed online.
  5. Applicants are to download and study the application guide available on https://acefuels-futo.org/admissions/how-to-apply/ and follow it strictly.

APPLICATION TIMELINE

  1. Application Deadline: Open through the year
  2. Notification of Acceptance into the Programme: On a rolling basis
  3. Registration Deadline: One month from the date of admission
  4. Payment Deadline for Other Fee Component: One month from the date of admission
