The minimum admission requirement for the ACE-FUELS MSc programmes in Corrosion Technology, Electrochemical Technology, Future Energies and Nanotechnology, respectively, is a good Second-Class Honors (CGPA >= 3.00 on a 5.0 scale) degree in a relevant Science (Physical/Biological/Health) or Engineering discipline from a Nigerian university or an equivalent qualification from universities outside Nigeria.
The minimum requirement for the MSc programme in Energy Management and Entrepreneurship is Second-Class Honours (>=2.50 on a 5.0 scale) in any discipline from a Nigerian university or an equivalent qualification from universities outside Nigeria.
In general. and in addition to the above requirements, where applicable, a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD), passed with Upper Credit is required for candidates with a Third-Class Honours degree.
The minimum entry requirement for the Ph.D programmes is a master’s (CGPA >= 3.50 on a 5.0 scale) degree in a relevant Science (Physical/Biological/Health)Science or Engineering discipline, performed at a high standard with substantial research component; or an equivalent qualification that demonstrates research experience and excellence. The candidate must have a good Second-Class Honours degree in relevant fields.
In addition, the applicant must demonstrate a strong interest in research, development, and innovation in science and technology, as well as the ability to work optimally and independently in an international multidisciplinary environment.
All programmes in ACE-FUELS shall be run in English language. English language appreciation courses are available under the ELSP for Regional/International students who do not speak English as first language.
