Professor Toochukwu Ekwutosi Ogbulie is a Professor of Biotechnology at the Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO). She holds a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Biotechnology with, M.Sc., and B.Sc. in Microbiology. She is a registered Environmental Specialist (RES, A306) with specialization in Bioenergy and Environment under National Registry of Environmental Professionals, NREP USA. She has a profound interest and experience in Environmental Biotechnology/ Renewable Energy, Microbial Biotechnology and Bioinformatics. Prof. Mrs Ogbulie held several administrative positions in the University to include Head of Department of Biotechnology (2016 – 2019), Deputy Director, Centre for Entrepreneurial Studies (CES) (2021-2022), Deputy Dean of Post graduate school, FUTO (2020-2021); a member of the University Senate (2016-Date); member of Management Team of African Centre of Excellence – Future Energies and Electrochemical Systems (ACE-FUELS) FUTO (2019- Date), and Director Center for Research, Innovation and Development [CRID] (2022-Date).
