TARGET PARTICIPANTS
This course is well suited for researchers at all stages in their career, as well as research administrators. The course is well adapted for participants with science and non-science backgrounds.

COURSE OUTCOMES Course participants shall develop knowledge and capacity to understand the importance of effective research implementation and communication.

Specifically, the participants shall:

• Understand basic concepts and styles for writing various kinds of technical reports.
• Become familiar with the important considerations in conceptualizing and formulating research projects
• Learn the necessary skills and techniques for drafting winning research proposals
• Develop improved research communication abilities for science and non-science practitioners.
• Learn skills for effective presentation of research output to diverse audience.

 
COURSE CURRICULUM
Orientation/ Introduction to technical presentations

Lesson 1: Principles of Technical Writing
Lesson 2: Research conceptualization
Lesson 3: Drafting winning research proposals
Lesson 4: Communicating Research Outputs
Lesson 5: Public Speaking

COURSE DURATION
The course shall run for 5 days.
