ACE-FUELS successfully hosted its maiden e-Symposium on Hydrogen Energy, on Friday, 30th June, 2023, via Zoom. The event featured public presentation of the R&D project tagged ‘’Hydrogen and Fuel Cells for Telecommunications Backup PowerProject (HY4TEL)’’, which is funded by the Nigerian Communications Commission(NCC), with Prof. Emeka E. Oguzie as Principal Investigator.
The e-Symposium presented a platform for discourse on key ideas, concepts, developments and issues on hydrogen production, storage, applications, local access, and adoption. The event featured four guest speakers, who are renown experts and key players in different key aspects of the hydrogen ecosystem, as well as eight top quality technical papers from professionals, researchers, and postgraduate students in the area. The broad-based presentations touched on hydrogen production, hydrogen storage, computational modelling/AI, fuel cells & batteries, novel materials, economic & socio-economic factors, and some case studies.
