The African Centre of Excellence in Future Energies and Electrochemical Systems ACE-FUELS is achieving more milestone on a daily as it successfully held its first external examination at the ACE- FUELS complex. The successes encompasses researches carried out by Students of the center. These include the completion of their project titled;
- Electrochemical and Microbial Treatment of Bromophenol Blue (BB) and Malachite Green Dye (MG) Contaminated Water for Electricity Generation by Anyanwu John Ojinyere.
- Assesment of Anticorrosion and Antifouling Performance of Epoxy-Chitosan Coatings Using computational Simulation Technique by Ikechuckwu, Uzochukwu Nelson and
- Pteropcarpus Santalinodes and Eco-friendly Additives Blends for Steel protection in Acidic Experimental and Computational Study by JohnGodswill Ebube Eziuku.
The works were examined by faculty members present as well as the Centre Leader, Prof. Emeka E. Oguzie, the External Examiner Prof. Peter C. Notably, is the publication of their research work done at ACE-FUELS FUTO which is a significant achievement and a testament to their hard work, dedication, and outstanding research skills which stands as an exceptional research culture nurtured within the Centre. Their efforts have undoubtedly contributed to the advancement of knowledge and shown deliberate attempts to facilitate the sustainable development goals.
