The Centre had a remarkable women’s day celebration on the 8th of March to celebrate with women all over the world. In marking the special day and reflect on progress made and call for a change female staff of ACE-FUELS shared inspiring stories to encourage women from all works of life to pursue their passion and make significant difference in the world and also pledge their support to inspire inclusion.

The Centre also held an empowering and inspiring webinar to honour the remarkable contributions and achievements of women in Energy around the world. The session was engaging with panelists who shared breathtaking discussions. Panelists included Prof. C. A. Madu, Dr. Latifatu Mohammed, and Mrs. Onyinye Anene-Nzelu.

The Centre Leader Prof. Emeka Oguzie acknowledged the shared commitment of women in the Centre and how the Centre would continue to create a gender-equal environment.
