The Africa Centre of Excellence in Future Energies and Electrochemical Systems (ACE-FUELS) has successfully conducted its first PhD dissertation defense of one post graduate student on September 26, 2023 at the Post Graduate School, Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO). The dissertation defense is the culminating formal assessment of his research towards the acheivement of a doctoral degree after many years of hard work and perseverance. It aslo featured the masters (MSc) degree defense of two other postgraduate students. They successfully completed their dissertation defense titled:
- Evaluation of the Potentials of Coals Beds in the Anambra Basin for Carbon Sequestration and Methane Production by Fagorite, Victor Inumidun.
- Thermal and Electrical Analysis of Organomentallic Halide Solar Cells by Ozurumba, Anthony Chiemeka.
- Coupled Electrochemical and Bioelectrochemical Treatment of Methyl Orange and Congo Red Dye-Contaminated Wastewaters for Electricity Generation by Anene, Chikwado Emmanuel.
